Italy! Day 10 Another day, another 10 miles of walking

Well, where did I leave off....  Just when we figured out our way around Florence, but more importantly, where the good gelato shops were located, we have to move on.  

We visited the Duomo, Uffizi museum, ponte vecchio, academie museum (the real David), churches and shops. One of the best fun were have had to date was the sunset picnic in the piazza Michelangelo. 5 bottles of wine gone, and the sun was not down yet.  :D

So, remember the baggage drill of all baggage drills? It was so fun, we got the thrill of doing it again... In reverse. Our bus to San Gimignano was not until 3 so stored our stuff in the hotel lobby, across the street and many floors between.  Then came the rush to get on the bus, and another bus... 

It all was worth it. This quaint medieval village which dates back to the 8th century is very cool! 

Bonus, breakfast, reception and we are all in the same hotel building! Yeah!

Tomorrow, we explore and relax.
