Today we said goodbye to intriguing Poland and hello to Lithuania. This begins the main tour portion. Poland was the optional pre tour. The flight was pleasant and on time. Lisa joined us today now our tour group is complete. Our hotel was originally a monastery complete with manual ascension (stairs), no lifts. It is good to give the heart a bit of exercise. 😊. Our Poland Palace hotel supplied bag lunches. After getting settled into our new accommodations, we had a lovely lunch on the lawn in front of our hotel. Even better, had our choice of beverages delivered to our table. What is not to like! Then off on a short walk to the near by stream. Not every day you see pianos and Inukshuks. Although, Lithuanians have a different name for the pile of rocks. On the wall next to the elderly woman walking is this country's constitution. Each plaque is a different language.
