Today, somber but important visit to Yad Vashem: world holocaust center. This has to be one of the most comprehensive, well thought out collection of items, photos, videos and more to document this dark time for so many. The journey through the exhibits is quite heart wrenching. Our tour group had the rare opportunity to hear the story of a holocaust survivor. She was a young child of 9 years old when the terror began. Quite astonishing as to how she has survived. What is important is, let's not forget. The afternoon took us to a local market where my travel cohorts enjoyed a very tasty Lebononese cuisine. Yummy! Of course, we found a beer or two. Tomorrow, Bethlehem. Keep reading!
