Lunch was Indian Malaysian fusion. Fabulous! Try it some time. The rest of the day and nearly all of tomorrow is on our own. Aa few of us did a walking tour of the laneways. Very interesting to poke into the inner alleys and arcades of this city central. Which was a much better call given the presence of rain throughout the afternoon. Gave us much more cover than the walking tour along the river. All that walking created a powerful thirst. Ducked down into the Charles Dickens pub. The 5 of us spend the next hour over a beverage trying to decipher the game of Aussie Rules football or as the locals say, footy. Still a mystery but not to the extent of figuring out cricket....
