Bade goodbye to Melbourne and hello to Adelaide today. Parting thoughts of Melbourne:
- the people who populate this most interesting city are as diverse as it's architecture
- the median age appears to be about 35
- very clean
- the juxtaposition of the very tasteful modern architecture right next to the 1800's English style brick and sandstone works well
- all people encountered are very friendly, and nice too
- biking is one mode of transportation but not the main one
- they brew very drinkable beer
- again, you are the one with the accent
Adelaide! After a bit of a delay with properly loading the baggage on the plane (our most esteem tour guide could give you a more specific explanation) we landed in new territory to explore. We whisked off to Cleland Wildlife Park. Loads of photos of which only a few are included. Dingos, Tasmanian devil, koalas, and a whole host of birds & water fowl. No idea as to what is what. Assignment is for you to them look up.
Tomorrow a talk by an aborigine man, the balance of the day on our own and a home hosted dinner. Do read on!
