Antarctica and Argentina: A new day, a new adventure!

Welcome to another bound to be interesting adventure!! Thank you for checking in. It was the usual pleasant uneventful (not to mention, a great opportunity to watch all those recently released movies...) half of a 24 hour day to get to our destination, Buenos Aires! My goodness this is a huge city and so vibrant. Fascinating the mixture of buildings' architecture. Walls and walls of buildings built from the 18th century through today. We powered through the day to not fall asleep by walking around the city central. There are about an equal number of shops selling goods as there are pizza joints. These Argentinians love their pizza. To which we did consume a few slices for lunch. Yum! Saw a most unique hardware store ... thought of our dear friend Alice, who has a penchant for these shops. Noticed a most unique way to prepare what we assume is Brazilian barbecue at one if the restaurants. Again...interesting.... To end the exploration, found a tankard of beer which just had to be drank. A few sips short of short of a growler. Too fun! Talking about fun, tomorrow we fly to Bariloche and the heart of Patagonia! Check back!
