Our last day in this fascinating 300 year old city, St Petersburg. Our day started with a lecture by a native Russian. He was quite interesting... do not remember much if what he talked about, but interesting. 😊. Then free time!! Our outstanding guide offer to take in into the sub-infrastructure of this city ... the subway/metro! Of course our curiosity said not to miss this adventure. This is the deepest system in the world at 300 feet down. Our assessment is not only is it deep but essentially immaculate. Wow. Never seen such a clean and ornate stations. The escalator is nearly 5 minutes to descend and ascend. You are not able to see the top from the bottom or vise versa. Here are our tokens in our hands, ready to explore!
