> We loaded up the bus and off to the airport. Left Tibet today and flew to Chongqing. Tibet was quite fascinating. The altitude was a bit challenging. Exploring this amazing part of the world and interacting with the happy and colorful people was well worth the challenge. Landed in the largest city in the world, Chongqing. Who knew it was the largest at 33 million population. Stopped first at the 3 gorges museum. Timing is everything. We hit the place at the same time, at what seemed to be an entire elementary school, on a class trip. They were far more interested in saying hello to us and taking photos with them than they were the exhibits in the museum. Wow! Talk about paparazzi! We were swarmed. Then off to board our 6 deck river boat and home for the next 3 nights. First river cruise ever. Should be fun!
