China! Day 18 part c

> After a bit of discussion, nearly all of our group including our guide, opted to go to an optional performance. The director is the same man who did the Beijing Olympic opening & closing ceremonies. Wow! It was no doubt the most amazing staged performance on the planet! It is a complex story about some of China's past history and the battles between emperors. It was all in Chinese, but it really did not matter. The staging was phenomenal. There was 3-4" of water covering the performance area. Probably nearly 200 performers and 24 horses came running, galloping, marching, acrobats, trampolinist, and fighting across this area. Not only did the staging move around, so did our the audience seats. Wow! About a 100 trees floated in from seemingly nowhere and latter warriors did the same. It was money and time well spent, not to mention moving our bedtime an hour or so later. Enjoy a few of the scenes. I
